Major firm scores European Bank counsel
A national firm has recruited a former counsel to the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
Alan Colman (pictured) will join Corrs Chambers Westgarth’s Melbourne office as a consultant.
He has also previously held legal roles at the UN in Geneva and spent 13 years at another large Australian firm.
Mr Colman specialises in workplace relations and dispute resolutions and has worked across a range of sectors, including aviation, banking, manufacturing, mining, telecommunications and stevedoring.
Last month, Corrs Chambers Westgarth also gained litigation special counsel Michelle Dean from King & Wood Mallesons.
The firm has also suffered losses recently, including energy partner James Minchinton in October and corporate partner David Hallam in August.
