National firm chooses new chairman
Sparke Helmore has appointed a corporate partner to be its new chairman of the board.
Mark Hickey (pictured) has been with Sparkes for 15 years and has experience in corporate transactions, capital raisings and property infrastructure development.
Mr Hickey has advised on a number of major property and infrastructure projects in Australia and the Middle East, as well as the listing of several companies on the ASX and Alternate Investment Market in the UK.
"I congratulate Mark on his appointment to the role and look forward to working closely with him during his tenure,” said national managing partner Jesse Webb.
“I have no doubt his experience in a wide range of other leadership positions over the years will prove invaluable in this role.”
Mr Hickey is also a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and on the board of HunterNet.
