Simon Black (pictured) joined the insurance and health practice in Barry Nilsson’s Sydney office this month after two years at W+K. He has also worked as a senior associate at Clyde & Co and Lander & Rogers.

“Simon has developed a strong expertise in professional indemnity matters with national and international experience,” said Don Leembruggen, managing partner at Barry Nilsson.

Mr Black has experience advising accountants and financial planners, engineers, property valuers, film and television and health professionals.

The appointment follows the opening of Barry Nilsson’s Melbourne office on 1 July.
