Partner bids farewell to CBP
Insurance partner Mark Attard has joined Norton Rose Fulbright’s Melbourne office after three years with CBP Lawyers.
“Mark’s years of experience in the insurance industry and strong market knowledge and reputation will be hugely beneficial to our business and our clients,” said NRF's managing partner in Australia, Wayne Spanner (pictured).
Mr Attard said he was confident NRF could support the needs of his clients.
“As the practice of law becomes increasingly globalised, many of my clients have sought the reassurance that their legal needs can be supported no matter where they are in the world,” he said.
NRF recently relocated London-based insurance litigator Jehan-Philippe Wood to its Perth office and global head of energy, Simon Currie, to its Sydney office.
Earlier this year, NRF lost national leader Derek La Ferla to Lavan Legal and retail and franchise lawyer Greg Hipwell to Maddocks.
The firm also recruited a new Jakarta-based partner along with lateral hires John Elliott, Andrea Rezos, Emanuel Confos.
