Group heads defect to rival firm
Two partners from Cornwall Stodart Lawyers have been poached by another Melbourne-based commercial firm.
The head of Cornwall Stodart’s employment and IR group, Louise Houlihan, along with litigation partner and head of not-for-profit, Leneen Forde (pictured), have been appointed principals of Sladen Legal.

Ms Houlihan was a partner at Cornwall Stodart for seven years. She has brought senior associate Jane O’Brien and associate Joanna Shields across to Sladens.
Ms Forde, along with lawyer Andrew Blyth, will form a new commercial disputes team within the firm’s litigation practice.
Ms Forde had been a partner at Cornwall Stodart for eight years and was a partner at Clarke Kann Lawyers in Brisbane prior to that.
