Freehills finds green space in Brisbane
Freehills has confirmed it has signed an agreement to take the top three floors of a new 37 level riverside office tower in Brisbane.

Freehills today confirmed it has signed an agreement to take the top three floors of a new 37 level riverside office tower at 480 Queen Street in Brisbane.
Freehills CEO Gavin Bell said the firm had been considering its options in Brisbane for some time, partly because the firm is literally running out of space.
“Our Brisbane office has seen significant growth across all practice areas and has been bursting at the seams for some time,” he said.
“The 6 Star Green Star and 5 Star NABERS development at 480 Queen Street will provide us with much needed cutting edge space,” Bell said.
“We’re pleased that with its contemporary premium office space, market leading bike centre and fitness facilities, the building presents a dynamic working space for our people and clients, whilst meeting the firm’s environmental aspirations,” he said.
The new office has a market-style food areas, restaurants, podium park and roof top tree grove, Bell said.
It also has an elevated parkland and plaza area that will span an entire level of the building.
“The inclusion of the park reflects changes to the workplace, providing formal and informal meeting and break out areas for staff, clients and customers alike,” Ponton said.
There is also a 12-storey high plant wall on the northern facade of the building.
