MELBOURNE BUSINESS law firm Ponte Earle has announced a merger with Loris F Sartori Solicitors, to become official at the end of the month.

Principal of Ponte Earle, Leon Ponte, said the firm was honoured to have Sartori Solicitors join it.

“[Sartori] is a very experienced and highly regarded advisory and business lawyer, and his professional and personal honours speak well of his outstanding achievement and service both professionally and personally,” Ponte said.

“It also bodes well … that of the many options available to [Sartori], he has chosen to merge his practice with Ponte Earle.”

Fellow principle of the firm, Philip Earle, said “our business law clients appreciate not only the breadth of experience we are able to offer, but also the delivery of our services in a pragmatic and cost effective manner”.

“There are clear synergies with [Sartori] and his practice, and this merger will provide our respective clients with enhanced skills and knowledge.”

Sartori, who has received the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) and is an honorary life member of the Law Institute of Victoria, has exclusively operated in business law. He has acted for various Australian corporations in the construction, manufacturing, wholesale, transport and logistic industries.

“Ponte Earle has a very good reputation professionally and as astute, commercially effective business lawyers,” Sartori said.

“Our practice has continued to grow, and Ponte Earle … will allow us to provide our clients with an expanded and enhanced nature and quality of business law services in a personalised, cost effective boutique environment,” he said.
