Australian lawyers have been dishing out the dirt on their respective firms, partners, social life and toilets in a law firm survey by Uk website Roll on Friday.

Respondents to the survey awarded praise to last year's winner Fox Tucker, where "partners are approachable", the culture "excellent" and social life "great", Roll on Friday reports.

But the website reports Fox Tucker doesn't have the gong in the bag yet. The firm is facing stiff competition from Marque Lawyers. With "the iTunes server that pumps out 90s trance anthologies all day", the firm also offers "free, all you can eat toast" and Asahi house beer.

Norton Rose sits at the other end of the spectrum, and is criticised for its "insidious environment".

Blake Dawson, meanwhile, is slated for its "boys' club vibe".

Lavan Legal is described as a "joyless workhouse" which is "especially good at sacking trainees".

And McCullough Robertson is slammed for its dodgy toilets. One respondent warns: "never go to the bathroom with a full stomach - you never know what you are going to find".

The Roll on Friday survey is still open for comment.
