A MERGER between longstanding Brisbane firm MacDonnells Solicitors and Queensland’s largest regionally based firm Lees Marshall Warnick, to be implemented in July, will give the firm the widest “on-the-ground” coverage of any law firm in Queensland.
Don Macpherson, managing partner of Lees Marshall Warnick, said that clients and staff will “have access to a much broader range of resources, services and opportunities”.
The combined firm will offer greater specialist expertise and more depth in several practice areas, including local government, property development, town planning, commercial, corporate and workplace relations.
“Our combined firm has a distinct state-wide focus. [We will have] a strong presence in Brisbane, Cairns and Townsville, providing the widest on the ground coverage of any law firm in Queensland,” MacDonnells’ chairman of partners, Russell Beer, said.
