The specific issues faced by women working in the legal profession will be the focus of an upcoming workshop hosted by the ACT Law Society.
Speaking at the workshop will be the 2010 ACT Australian of the Year and editor of Women and the Law in Australia, Professor Patricia Easteal AM.
The human rights advocate will share extracts of her latest book, which provides practical advice on dealing with issues in the practice of law, specific to women.
Easteal's new book was launched by Governor-General Quentin Bryce at the national conference of Australian Women Lawyers in August 2010.
