Australia will this week showcase its international arbitration credentials at the 2010 World Expo in Shanghai.

The Australian Attorney-General's Department, the International Legal Services Advisory Council (ILSAC) and the Australian Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (ACICA) will hold an Arbitration Forum and VIP luncheon for interested Australian and international commercial dispute resolution parties in the Expo's Australian Pavilion on 16 July.

Speakers and special guests will include Federal Attorney-General Robert McClelland, Federal Court judge Patrick Keane and ACICA president Doug Jones.

Topics to be covered in the forum include an analysis of the recent developments which have led to Australia becoming a more appealing centre for the resolution of disputes, a comparative study of arbitration in Australia and China and a discussion around what clients look for in selecting a venue for dispute resolution.
