Four Norton Rose partners donned their woolies and long johns last week to participate in the annual St Vincent de Paul Society's CEO Sleepout.
"It was a humbling night which challenged our attitudes about homelessness. Loneliness is one of the challenges for homeless people - if you see a homeless person in the street, even if you don't give them food or money, just try saying hello," said Abrahams.
"You don't need to have a conversation but homeless people feel invisible, so it would be nice to acknowledge them. The people you see on the street begging are not representative of the 105,000 homeless people in Australia. The vast number of homeless people stay hidden, for fear of assault or out of shame."
The CEO Sleepout raised a total of $2,645,063.
