The University of New South Wales has taken out two major awards at the prestigious Willem C Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot in Vienna over the weekend.
While the Kings College London took out the coveted first place - beating Canada's University of Ottawa - Australia's Griffith University, Deakin University and the University of Technology Sydney all made it through to the final rounds.
Adding to Australia's success at the moot was the fact that the event was governed by the Australian Centre for International Commercial Arbitration's (ACICA) arbitration rules, cementing its place as one of the world leaders in the international arbitration domain.
ACICA's president Doug Jones chaired the panel which judged the finalists on their moot performances.
