Sonya Harris has been appointed as the general counsel and company secretary of Mirvac Group.

She has moved across from Brookfield Multiplex where she has been the deputy general counsel since 2005.

Prior to that, she was a partner at Minter Ellison. In the company secretary role she is replacing Michael Smith who resigned from the company in late August.
