MINTER ELLISON has been named the Australian and New Zealand insurance “Law Firm of the Year” by the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance.

The firm’s insurance practice accepted the award at a ceremony held in Sydney recently. This is the second consecutive year that Minters has picked up the prize, awarded on criteria such as an understanding of the market, responsiveness to insurer needs, provision of education and information to the industry, innovation and leadership.

The panel noted Minter’s deep industry understanding and appreciation of issues and challenges facing organisations and the ability to adapt to changing client needs, as well as the firm’s focus on profession, ethical and social standards.

Minter Ellison partner Pamela Madafiglio said: "It is extremely gratifying for the national practice to be recognised as the best for a second consecutive year. It is testament to the quality of people we have in the firm and our commitment to delivering the highest standard of service and outcomes for our clients."
