Keypoint establishes franchising practice, hires partner
Boutique NewLaw provider Keypoint Law has created a franchising practice group and hired a partner from Holman Webb.

Corinne Attard, who was a commercial partner at Holman Webb Lawyers, has been hired by Keypoint Law to join its newly established franchising practice.
“She has more than 25 years of industry experience, including as group legal counsel of a franchise group with oversight of over 350 stores. She represents some of Australia’s most recognisable suppliers of food and restaurants, household services, business-to-business services, health and aged care providers and retailers of a vast array of services and products on the market,” the statement said.
Commenting on the appointment, Keypoint CEO Warren Kalinko said he was excited to announce the launching of the new practice group, bringing the firm’s total to 22 areas of law.
“Corinne is truly a leader in this area, and her expertise will round out our already strong corporate offering. Corinne’s impressively broad experience ranges from establishing, buying and selling franchise groups to IP and international expansion,” he continued.
“Our clients will benefit from her outcome-oriented and risk management-based approach. I am delighted to welcome Corinne to Keypoint and look forward to working with her.”
