THE FUJI XEROX Australian Law Awards 2004 will use the most rigorous selection and judging process yet. The new methodology — including criteria for the Awards — has been developed in conjunction with leading in-house and private firm lawyers, academics, industry associations, government and regulatory authorities as well as major consumers of legal services.
For the first time, the Awards are using a self-nomination process, with potential candidates invited to forward submissions to the organisers outlining in between 500 and 2,000 words why they would be a worthy recipient of the award for their chosen category. The nomination process opened on 31 October and closes on 12 December.
