AFTER MORE than a decade at number 255 Elizabeth Street Sydney, Phillips Fox is moving just a block or so, and has signed a ten year lease for the top eight levels of the recently refurbished former Pacific Power building.

The new location, at 201 Elizabeth Street, takes up approximately 10,000 square metres, which will cover the firm’s projected business growth, according to chief executive Tony Crawford.

“After over ten years at our current location, we needed premises that not only accommodated our existing business but which could support the growth and expansion we’ve predicted for Phillips Fox over the next five years,” Crawford said.

The new location also offers the firm’s clients and staff upgraded, high-quality facilities, “which reflect the latest thinking in office environments, interior design and space planning”, he said.

“Particularly pleasing is that this move has allowed us to roll out the interior concepts developed as part of our new corporate identity,” Crawford said.

“As a result we’re a step closer to seeing all of our eight offices across Australia and New Zealand with a consistent look and feel, which better reflects our friendly, accessible and down-to-earth corporate personality.”
