The US-headquartered firm has taken up a long-term lease in Governor Phillip Tower, alongside fellow global King & Wood Mallesons.

Seyfarth Shaw opened its doors in Sydney and Melbourne in December 2013, with eight partners poached from Herbert Smith Freehills, Ashurst and Arnold Bloch Leibler.

Its practice in Australia is narrowly focused on employment, workplace safety and industrial relations.

According to Australian managing partner Darren Perry, the move from the firm's offices at Chifley Tower was made to accommodate its growing Sydney footprint.

“Our continued growth, including the recent addition of our workplace safety team, has made it necessary for us to say goodbye to our first home in Chifley Tower and take a long-term lease in a location with more space,” he said.

“We are excited about continuing to work with our clients in the new environment we have created at Governor Phillip Tower.”

The firm collaborated with design and fit-out company Outkast to create the new layout.
