Global firm focuses on innovation in ACT
King & Wood Mallesons has partnered with the CBR Innovation Network to support and drive Canberra’s innovation sector.

Last week, KWM and PwC were announced as gold partners of the CBR Innovation Network (CBRIN), which supports businesses with potential.
King & Wood Mallesons managing partner Australia, Sue Kench (pictured) said: “We are thrilled to be partnering with like-minded organisations such as CBRIN and PwC to build a community of entrepreneurs focused on accelerating innovation in the ACT and beyond.”
Ms Kench said the partnerships CBRIN has formed with KWM and PwC demonstrates the power of collaboration, and have created links to the large corporate sector.
“It will critically support high-growth potential companies achieve success and will contribute to a sustainable, best practice innovation ecosystem located in the ACT, ultimately to the benefit our nation,” she said.
CBRIN is a collaboration of Australian National University, University of Canberra, University of New South Wales Canberra, the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation, National Information and Communications Technology Australia and Canberra Institute of Technology.
