Publisher moves into tax market
LexisNexis Australia has announced the introduction of five tax products to its catalogue. The new products are to operate on a transactional basis, meaning that they focus on tax transactions
LexisNexis Australia has announced the introduction of five tax products to its catalogue.
Pip Hughes, director at LexisNexis, said that there was a growing call within the ranks of tax lawyers for a knowledge base that catered to certain needs within specialist needs within the industry. She also stated that the products were intended to cover both general and industry-specific tax topics with an insider view into the associated policy and technical issues.
“We see a growing need for an alternative to the generic, encyclopaedic tax information that’s been in the market for a long time.”
The publications include bi-monthly reports on the general status of tax law (primarily for tax accountants), launched at the end of February, a loose-leaf manual launched at the end of March and access to a corporate tax loose-leaf library, components of which are being launched until the end of April this year.
