Casamento has over 10 years’ experience in banking and finance having previously practised at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in London, Freehills and, since December last year, Clayton Utz.
Also joining the firm’s Sydney banking and finance team is Norton Rose Hong Kong partner Chris Redden.
Redden is qualified as a solicitor in Hong Kong, Australia and the UK, and has many years’ experience in each of these jurisdictions. He has worked in the mining, LNG and oil and gas, power, renewable energy, PPPs and infrastructure sectors.
His practice focuses on project, acquisition, corporate and structured trade finance. He also specialises in reserve based lending.
“We have actively changed the structure and composition of our banking team to complement changing trends and these hires demonstrate the quality of people we bring to our clients,” said NRA managing partner, Wayne Spanner.
