FCB Workplace Lawyers has promoted Chris Gianatti to partner in the firm's Melbourne office.

Gianatti joined the firm as a senior associate in December 2008, moving across from an in-house role at Telstra. He will now join partner Matthew Robinson in leading the Melbourne practice.

His achievements over the year have included delivering the outsourcing strategy for ABB Australia on the Foster's Group Abbotsford Brewery maintenance project and leading the strategy and compliance program from United Group Limited in response to the Fair Work Act 2009.

In addition, the firm has promoted Daniel Zeman, Suzanne Cusack and Helen Winklemann to senior associate.
