Kelly Ey, senior associate, corporate and commercial, also recently joined Kelly & Co. and has extensive experience advising on commercial and contractual issues, documentation for mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property law, trade practices law, corporate governance and directors’ duties. Joe Condina, solicitor, corporate and commercial, is a qualified accountant who made the transition to law in 2003.
Andrew Watson, the ACTU’s former director of legal and research, last week joined Maurice Blackburn Cashman in Melbourne as general counsel. The firm’s other recent appointments in Sydney include senior associate Carmine Santone, senior associate Anthony Hogno (Newcastle), senior associate Lisa Doust, associate Anthony Whyburn and Gabrielle Sullivan. They all came to the firm with Bob Whyburn following the merger of his practice with Maurice Blackburn Cashman on 1 November.
