Anderson Rice Lawyers in Melbourne has appointed Stuart Gibson as a partner with the firm’s corporate and commercial team. Gibson was previously a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers based in Melbourne. He leads the Anderson Rice contracts factory and advises a broad commercial client base from entrepreneurial start-ups to large ASX listed corporates.

Barry and Nilsson Lawyers has announced three major promotions: Richard Leahy has been appointed partner in the firm’s professional indemnity group. Leahy has focussed upon this area since joining Barry and Nilsson seven years ago. Joanna Burton has been appointed associate, also in the firm’s professional indemnity group.
