Queensland-based McInnes Wilson Lawyers has appointed three new solicitors. Vanessa MacDonald, who joins the insurance litigation division in the firm’s Brisbane office, has experience in civil litigation, work health, commercial litigation and commercial law. Carl Moseling has been appointed to the firm’s Maroochydore office where he will work on compulsory third party insurance claims. Mike Madden has joined the commercial litigation team in McInnes Wilson’s Brisbane office. He has experience working as a legal officer with the state Department of Tourism, Fair Trading and Wine Industry Development.

RAJ Lawyers has announced the appointment of Dr Clark Perry as the firm’s new chief operating officer. Perry, a well-known psychologist, specialises in elite performance in business and sport, including as Senior Psychologist at the Australian Institute of Sport. He is a leadership and coaching expert with extensive commercial and corporate management experience.

Property investment group Cromwell Corporation Limited has appointed Kirsten Acfield as internal legal counsel. Her primary role will be to assist the company’s acquisitions team, including in transactions relating to the acquisition and sale of assets. Acfield joins Cromwell after more than five years as a property lawyer with Minter Ellison
