New role for AIST
The Australian Institute of Superannuation Trustees has announced the appointment of Peta-Gai McLaughlin, a barrister and solicitor, to the newly created role of legal & compliance
The Australian Institute of Superannuation Trustees has announced the appointment of Peta-Gai McLaughlin, a barrister and solicitor, to the newly created role of legal & compliance manager.
Prior to working at Cbus, McLaughlin worked as an in-house senior lawyer at the Victorian Government Superannuation Office and at the Superannuation Complaints Tribunal. McLaughlin began her career within the superannuation division of Colonial.
As the chair of the Victorian Management Committee of ‘Women in Super’, McLaughlin is involved in various legal and superannuation discussion groups. She received her degrees at the University of Tasmania, and undertook articles at Slater & Gordon Lawyers.
