Melbourne-based firm Rockwell Bates has advised the UK’s AIM-listed Beacon Hill Resources PLC on its successful listing on the ASX.

Deal Significance: Beacon Hill will continue to be quoted on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) of the London Stock Exchange under the symbol BHR and on the Australian Stock Exchange under the symbol BHU. Completed on 5 April, the listing offers the opportunity for the company to leverage off Australian investors’ understanding of coal projects and provide a trading platform for existing Australian resident shareholders. Beacon Hill owns and operates Minas Moatize, one of only two operating coal mines producing, selling and exporting coal in the Moatize coal basin of Mozambique. The company is focused on building production projects in commodities relating to the steel production industry.
