Value: Approx $130 million

Key players: Joe Muraca led the KWM team, with support from senior associate Kate Johnson and solicitor Matt Bernardo. Partner Mark Weber and senior associate Kylie Castrissios also advised on IT and IP-related issues. Deal significance: Bank of Cyprus is the leading Cypriot bank and financial services group. Their Australian operations include 14 branches throughout the country. Bank of Cyprus Australia will operate as a stand-alone entity.
