Mallesons Stephen Jaques has advised chemical manufacturer Incitec Pivot on its $US800 million (S886 million) US bond issue announced last week.
The team was led by Melbourne partners Ian Paterson (banking and finance) and Alison Lansley (M&A) and assisted by tax partner David Wood and solicitors Martin Joy, Chris Dynon and Christine Huynh.
Other firms involved in the transaction were Sullivan & Cromwell, which acted as New York law counsel to the insurer and guarantors, and Sidley Austin, which acted as New York law counsel to the Initial Purchasers.
