2 lawyers join businessDEPOT from SME firm
Business services firm businessDEPOT has bolstered its legal service offering with the addition of a director and associate, both of whom join from an SME firm.
New director Neal Dallas and associate lawyer Victoria Mercer both join the firm from McInnes Wilson Lawyers and will focus on wealth advisory services within businessDEPOT.
“We could have easily jumped from one traditional law firm to another, but businessDEPOT as a group offered something meaningfully different – an environment that does not just talk about collaboration but lives and breathes it,“ he said.
“We’re excited to get to know the team and continue helping our loyal clients and referrers under the businessDEPOT brand.”
Since launching businessDEPOT Legal almost seven years ago, director Cameron Hancock has grown the team in both Brisbane and Sydney to provide commercial legal services for businesses.
“I am excited to welcome Neal and Victoria to the team and look forward to working with them to help more and more businesses, individuals, and advisors pursue their goals without any unwanted surprises along the way,” he said.
“The calibre of Neal and Victoria’s knowledge and expertise is bar none; we are incredibly fortunate they’ve chosen businessDEPOT Legal for the next phase in their already exceptional careers.”
BusinessDEPOT also supports many clients of accountants, financial planners and advisers by providing specialist services like valuations, specialist tax advice, business sales, capital raising, legal documentation and estate planning – and managing director John Knight said the new appointments would continue to drive positive outcomes for these clients.
“Neal Dallas is a legal expert in superannuation, estate planning and tax, and someone we know, like and trust to deliver services in the businessDEPOT way,” he said.
“We know Neal and Victoria will embrace how we like to work with our clients and have a proven track record of helping get great results for their clients.”
