NRF advises Melbourne Victory investor, 777 Partners
Global firm Norton Rose Fulbright has advised 777 Partners on its investment in the Australian football team Melbourne Victory.

Deal Significance: 777 Partners is a private investment corporation based in Miami, Florida, that has holdings in several professional soccer teams, including Sevilla of La Liga, Genoa of Serie B, Red Star FC of Paris, and Vasco da Gama of Brazil.
On 5 October, Melbourne Victory and 777 Partners announced a partnership that will allow the club and Australian soccer to flourish.
Melbourne Victory called the partnership “one of the biggest investment packages into a single sports team in Australian history”.
The strategic collaboration and investment, which includes a subscription for additional equity and longer-term convertible note capital, were all advised by the Norton Rose Fulbright team.
