Pacific Partnerships acquires Glenrowan Solar Farm from Esco Pacific
Pacific Partnerships has acquired the 125-megawatt Glenrowan Solar Farm development located roughly 235 kilometres north-east of Melbourne from Esco Pacific, under the advisory of firm Herbert Smith Freehills.

They were supported by partners Toby Anderson, Kristen Percy (also a part of the procurement and connection team along with partner Daniel Ficyk and solicitor Hugh Pegler) and Melanie Debenham, and solicitors Teresa Sun and Ella McKay. Partner Jon Evans along with solicitors Tia Liu and Nancy Darmanin led the team in charge of financing the project.
Deal significance: A continuation of Herbert Smith Freehills’ market-leading transaction work into the renewables sector.
Expected to generate over 260 gigawatt hours annually, the solar farm is due to be finished by the end of 2023. The CIMIC Group subsidiary, UGL, is leading the construction of the farm.
