Hamilton Locke grows corporate practice
Hamilton Locke has hired a new partner to join its corporate team.

The firm has appointed Michael Lishman as a corporate partner. Mr Lishman brings over 30 years of experience to his new role, having advised on complex M&A transactions and corporate advisory matters.
Throughout his career, he has built up expertise in various industries, including oil and gas, mining, financial services and transportation.
Hamilton Locke managing partner Nick Humphrey welcomed Mr Lishman to the firm, noting his appointment will help bolster the practice significantly.
“We are thrilled to grow our corporate practice and our Melbourne team with the addition of Michael Lishman,” Mr Humphrey said.
This latest appointment follows that of Margot King, who joined Hamilton Locke from Piper Alderman earlier this month.
Ms King joins the firm’s property practice in her new partnership role.

Emma Musgrave (née Ryan) is the managing editor, professional services at Momentum Media.
Emma has worked for Momentum Media since 2015, including five years spent as the editor of the company's legal brand - Lawyers Weekly. Throughout her time at Momentum, she has been responsible for breaking some of the biggest stories in corporate Australia. In addition, she has produced exclusive multimedia and event content related to the company's respective brands and audiences.
Prior to joining Momentum Media, Emma worked in breakfast radio, delivering news to the Central West region of NSW, before taking on a radio journalist role at Southern Cross Austereo, based in Townsville, North Queensland.
She holds a Bachelor of Communications (Journalism) degree from Charles Sturt University.
