Senex Energy acquired for $900m
Mining company Hancock Prospecting has been advised on its joint venture to acquire Senex Energy for $900 million.

Deal significance: Announced in December, the $900 million deal was officially completed last week – and the firm said that it’s an important investment in the natural gas market for HPPL.
“The deal reflects the increase in activity in the global resources market in a dynamic environment for energy prices,” noted partner Robert Franklyn.
