The firm has promoted Kaye Lai, Ashleigh Allen, Carolyn Ledinh, Phoebe Martin, James Reid, Steven de la Nougerede, Jade Wishart, Cody Nguyen and Nadine John to senior associate, while Madeleine Eaton, Katrina Sweet, Reece Qose and Maddison Harrington have been made associates.

The promotions – which were made across the firm’s five national offices – were effective as of 1 January 2022.

In a statement, the firm said that this promotion round reflects Gilchrist Connell’s “continued commitment to meet the needs of its clients by consolidating its expertise in key insurance lines (such as general liability, professional indemnity, workplace/EPL, health and medical, construction, property, and cyber lines) and complementary areas of law, such as corporate and commercial and restructuring and insolvency”.

“These promotions are well-deserved recognition for a group of very talented and dedicated people and reflect our ability to develop emerging talent in both key insurance lines and our broader complementary practices,” said Gilchrist Connell managing principal Richard Wood.
