NASDAQ-listed US developer of outdoor equipment and lifestyle products Clarus Corporation has been advised on its acquisition of vehicle recovery and extraction track business MAXTRAX.

Deal: Clarus Corporation has acquired MAXTRAX, which will continue to operate independently as a wholly owned indirect subsidiary of Clarus.

Key players: The Baker team was led by partner Richard Lustig, who was supported by Caroline Tait, Harrie Bantick and Alex Hewitt.
Deal significance: Mr Lustig said: “We were delighted to again act in Australia for our client, Clarus, on the acquisition of MAXTRAX, having previously acted on the acquisition of Rhino-Rack, an Australian aftermarket automotive roof rack and accessories brand.
“This purchase provides further opportunity to take new innovative products to market in both North America and around the world.”
