Slater and Gordon CFO resigns
Slater and Gordon’s chief financial officer has tendered his resignation to the ASX-listed law firm.
In an ASX update, Slater and Gordon confirmed its chief financial officer Scott Butterworth has resigned and will depart the company to take up a new role.
“On behalf of the Board and management at Slater & Gordon, I would like to thank Scott for his significant contribution to the transformation of the Company and in building the firm of the future,” Slater and Gordon chief executive officer John Somerville said.
“We wish him well in the next stage of his career.”
The resignation of Mr Butterworth comes a month shy of Slater and Gordon chair James MacKenzie temporarily stepping down from his post as he undergoes treatment for a medical condition.
His duties are being temporarily taken on by acting chair Elana Rubin until his return, which is expected to be within a few months.
