Quantium extends Woolies partnership
International law firm Allens has advised Quantium on its expanded partnership with Woolworths Group.

Key players: The legal team advising Quantium was led by Allens partner Tom Story, with assistance from partner Gavin Smith, senior associate James Nguyen and lawyer Monique Fraser.
The legal team advising Woolworths Group was led by Clayton Utz partner Geoff Hoffman and included special counsel Sidney Tang, and lawyers Megan Williams, Belinda Slack and Natasha Cutler.
Deal significance: Quantium is described as being a world-class data science and advanced analytics firm.
As part of the transaction, Quantium will continue to be run by the existing management team led by co-founder and chief executive Adam Driussi, and will continue to operate in sectors beyond retail, including FMCG, banking, property, health and more, a statement from Baker McKenzie confirmed.
The firm added a new business unit, known as Q-Retail, will also be established as part of the partnership, combining advanced analytics and retail capabilities from across Quantium and Woolworths Group.
