Global law firm, Herbert Smith Freehills, has advised Telehealth platform Rosemary Health on its series seed capital raise.

Key players: The Herbert Smith Freehills team was led by partner and head of venture capital Peter Dunne and solicitor Myra Beal. 

Deal significance: According to a statement from Herbert Smith Freehills, Rosemary Health is a telehealth platform that facilitates electronic prescriptions and prescription deliveries to Australian consumers.

“This new capital will be employed to accelerate the growth and market penetration of its range of asynchronous telehealth clinics. The round was led by early stage VC fund, Artesian Venture Partners, with investors in the round including US VC fund Breyer Capital,” the statement explained.

Commenting further, Ms Beal said: “Rosemary Health is a great example of an Australia technology company addressing an important unmet need for Australian consumers.

“With the COVID-19 pandemic, it is more important than ever that Australians have access to telehealth and medicines from their homes. It was great to work with Romain and the Rosemary Health team on this capital raise and we look forward to seeing the company’s next steps.”

Rosemary Health founder and chief executive Romain Bonjean, thanked Herbert Smith Freehills for their support during the capital raise.
