Middletons acted for Australian Petroleum Investments Pty Ltd Group on the $600 million acquisition of the entire issued capital of Delhi Petroleum Pty Ltd, a subsidiary of ExxonMobil Corporation. Delhi has an approximate 22 per cent interest in the Cooper Basin and Eromanga Oil and Gas Joint Ventures. Middletons’ acquisition team was led by M&A partner Jeff Goss. He was supported by fellow partner Jane Ann Gray, senior associate Jen Robinson and lawyer Andrew McNee.

Gilbert + Tobin M&A partner, Gary Lawler led the team representing Woolworths on the $600 million service station alliance between Woolworths Limited and Caltex Australia Limited. This alliance will result in Caltex co-branding more than 130 of its services stations located near Woolworths stores as Caltex Woolworths sites, and Woolworths' existing sites being co-branded with the Caltex brand. All of these sites will sell Caltex fuel and accept Woolworths fuel redemption discount vouchers.
