Bartier Perry acted for the Auspark/Secure Parking Group in its merger with the Kings Parking/Ariadne Group. The merger creates Australia’s largest parking services company. The merged entity will operate more than 200 carparks along the eastern seaboard managing more than $200 million in revenues.

 
 

Linklaters advised Citigroup Global Markets Limited, Dresdner Bank AG London Branch and UBS Limited as joint lead managers, Dresdner Bank Aktiengesellschaft as LPN issuer and The Law Debenture Trust Corporation plc as trustee on an issue of EUR374 ($636) million 6.45 per cent loan participation notes due 2011 for the City of Moscow. The proceeds of the bond will refinance the first international bond from Russia after the 1998 financial crisis. The bonds priced at 6.45 per cent, which the firm said was the lowest coupon for a Russian eurobond in recent times and “less than 50 basis points over an interpolated sovereign yield curve”. The Linklaters team was led by partner Dominic Sanders and capital markets consultant Pavel Koutovoi.

Baker & McKenzie.Wong & Leow advised Pentex-Schweizer Circuits Limited (PSC), a Singapore listed company, and its major shareholders in relation to the takeover of PSC by way of a scheme of arrangement by Sanmina-SCI Corporation (SCI), USA. PSC was valued at approximately US$78 ($102.5) million. The acquisition includes operations in Wuxi, China and Singapore. The Baker & McKenzie.Wong & Leow team was led by Ai Ai Wong, principal and head of corporate and commercial group, and Andrew Martin, principal.
