Women in Law Awards launched for 2020
Lawyers Weekly is thrilled to present the ninth annual Women in Law Awards.
The 2020 Women in Law Awards is a celebration of the exemplary work done by female lawyers and legal professionals across the country, helping shape the Australian legal marketplace in what has been a most turbulent and unpredictable year.
“While this year’s Women in Law Awards will look a little different, the importance of the event has reached peak levels in 2020. There hasn’t been a role that hasn’t had to adapt to the pressures brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, with many forced to revamp how they go about fulfilling their duties on a day-to-day basis.
“It is our honour to be able to recognise those leading the way in this regard, while celebrating the longstanding achievements of all women that make up this valued profession.”
Female professionals in law can nominate, or be nominated across 31 separate individual and team categories, from BigLaw to the bar, in-house to sole practice, as well as various excellence categories including wellness, innovation and thought leadership.
