Sparke Helmore promotes 27 to senior roles

National law firm Sparke Helmore has elevated four to partnership, 10 to special counsel and 14 to senior associate, with 75 per cent of the promotions being women.

Sparke Helmore has promoted 27 lawyers to senior roles, including naming four to the firm’s partnership ranks. Three-quarters of those promoted are female, the firm noted.

The four new partners are: Mia Donald (government, Sydney), Michael La Vista (government, Adelaide), Dino Liistro and Laura Rush (both commercial insurance, Sydney).

The new special counsel are: Alison Jury (commercial insurance, Newcastle), James Clohesy (commercial insurance, Sydney), Belinda Pegolo (corporate and commercial, Sydney), Carly Roberts and Dianna Grant (corporate and commercial, Newcastle), Alanna Lucchese (government, Canberra), Elle Tattersall (government, Perth), Sue Wilkinson (statutory insurance, Perth), Daria Mclachlan (workplace, Adelaide) and Julie Kneebone (workplace, Sydney).

The new senior associates are: Elisa Lee, James Sutherland, Jennifer Wicks, Kinga Mrozek, Stephanie Barclay and Steven Canton (commercial insurance, Sydney), Jeanine Wong and Rachel Walls (commercial insurance, Canberra), Laura Bendlin (commercial insurance, Perth), Samantha Galeano (corporate and commercial, Sydney), Katherine Evans (government, Sydney), Sarah Strachan (government, Melbourne), Ben Gottlieb and Mohamad Ardati (workplace, Sydney).

Commenting on the new partners, Sparkes national managing partner Phillip Salem said the firm is proud to promote the quartet to its growing partnership ranks.
