Corrs Chambers Westgarth announced on Friday morning the appointment of seven new partners, all of whom will join the partnership ranks on 1 July 2020.

The national firm’s new partners are: Paul Brickley (financial sponsors and projects groups, Melbourne), Chris Campbell (property and real estate and projects groups, Perth), Sarah Clarke (employment and labour and financial sponsors groups, Melbourne), Rhys Lloyd-Morgan (property and real estate and corporate groups, Brisbane), Simon Mifsud (tax and corporate groups), Carla Mills (projects and arbitration groups, Sydney) and Katrina Sleiman (class actions and commercial litigation groups, Sydney).

Speaking about the seven new partners, Corrs CEO Gavin MacLaren said he was “delighted to welcome these talented lawyers” to the firm’s partnership ranks.

“Their promotions are recognition of the significant results they have achieved for our clients and the valuable contribution they have made to the firm,” he said.

The promotions follow national firm Lander & Rogers naming seven new partners in mid-May and Herbert Smith Freehills promoting eight to the Australian partnership ranks in mid-April.
