New TMT partner joins Lander & Rogers
Contemporary law firm Lander & Rogers has welcomed a new partner to its corporate group.
Lisa Fitzgerald will bring additional strength to the firm’s technology and digital practice, advising clients on digital transformation, procurement, technology infrastructure and data security according to the firm.
“Lisa shares our firm’s commitment to innovating our client experience, and has outstanding skills and expertise which strengthen our growing technology practice.”
Ms Fitzgerald is a specialist in technology, telecommunications, data strategy and intellectual property, with more than 15 years of experience gained in private practice and as in-house counsel for a large international telco.
Her arrival at Lander & Rogers comes at a time when the legal and business worlds have had to adapt to and invest in technology at an unprecedented rate.
“Digital transformation, particularly in the wake of COVID-19, is raising an entirely new set of questions for clients around data protection and transfer, governance and regulation," said Jackie Solakovski, partner and practice group leader of Lander & Rogers’ corporate group.
“Lisa’s strengths in these areas will be extremely valuable in guiding our clients through a rapidly changing landscape.”
Ms Fitzgerald joins a growing partnership at Lander & Rogers, with the firm recently announcing its largest-ever promotions round and the elevation of seven lawyers to partner from 1 July 2020.
She also joins a growing team of female leaders, with women making up 43 per cent of the firm’s partnership from 1 July 2020.
“It’s an exciting time to be working with clients as they prioritise digital investment and navigate the risks and opportunities that brings,” said Ms Fitzgerald.
“It’s also an exciting time to be joining Lander & Rogers, a firm with a deep understanding of how critical innovation and technology are to business.”
