Commercial firm forms joint venture with business advisory group
A commercial law firm based on NSW Central Coast has unveiled its formation of the new joint venture with a business advisory firm to assist businesses in the area.
The joint venture will see Priority Business Lawyers (PBL) and One Direct Advisory (ODA) professionals work together and share resources to position clients on the Central Coast, Sydney and Newcastle and assist with successfully establishing their businesses.
It will be led by PBL’s managing director Raea Khan and the ODA chairman and principal adviser, Ron Thomsen. Existing lawyers and advisers will remain on to assist.
“We are pleased to announce this new joint venture, delivering on a commitment to build a high-quality consultancy offering which provides new and existing clients with the most comprehensive advice to assist in positioning their business for success,” said Mr Khan.
Mr Khan added that the firms understand businesses change over time and the advice it would provide needs to follow accordingly. He said ODA has an “excellent reputation” for providing advice on a range of advisory products to complement legal-focused offerings.
Mr Thomsen said he believes the joint venture will allow the firms to increase their ability to effectively manage clients’ most critical business challenges, as well as allow the firms to create an operation that offers a scope of advisory products available from big firms.
“The combination of distinct advisory strengths will play an essential role to businesses in this current climate, offering holistic advice pertaining to a multitude of challenges that clients might be facing,” said Mr Thomsen.
