Deal: Clarendon Lawyers advised founders of Brave New World Consulting (BNW) on the sale of BNW to a wholly owned subsidiary of SoftwareONE AG.

Key players: The team was led by managing director Tony Symons, who was assisted by senior associate Adam Laidlaw and graduate Ashlee Maywald.
Deal significance: BNW is a Melbourne-based technology and cloud consultancy company that was founded in 1996. It specialises in SAP platform transformation and migration to public cloud platforms.
SoftwareONE is a Switzerland-headquartered leading global provider of end-to-end software and cloud technology solutions listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange. It assists companies with the design and implementation of their technology strategy, and optimising their software estate.
Mr Symons said: “This acquisition provides an exciting opportunity for BNW to take its consulting software and technology to a global market. We were thrilled to be involved in this matter and to assist the founders [to] achieve a successful sale.”
