Dentons has announced an official combination between it and Adelaide-based Fisher Jeffries in a bid to “further strengthen the foundation for it to become the leading global law firm in Australasia”.

The move sees Fisher Jeffries become Dentons Fisher Jeffries, with the combination adding 11 new partners to the Dentons’ network.

“Fisher Jeffries has an excellent reputation in South Australia as a specialist commercial firm, built on an intimate understanding of the local business market,” said Australia Region CEO, Doug Stipanicev.

"We can now provide our clients with access to 77 partners across Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth.

“Since combining with Dentons in 2016, locally we have been focused on strategic growth. Since then, Dentons has been named the fastest growing law firm in Australia and our combination with Fisher Jeffries not only formalises our longstanding relationship, but also connects our clients to new opportunities both domestically and globally.”

Dentons latest combination comes just months after it confirmed it had proposed one between it and New Zealand-headquartered firm Kensington Swan.
