Deal: Hall & Wilcox have advised Sto Group on the acquisition of Unitex, a distributor and manufacturer of building products for residential and commercial architecture.

Value: Undisclosed.

Area: M&A.

Key players: The team was led by head of international Oliver Jankowsky. He was assisted by partner Deborah Chew and lawyers Alicia Haesslein, David Holland and James Fisher.

Deal significance: Sto Group is a major international manufacturer with an annual turnover of €1.2 billion and a “large international presence”. Before this acquisition, it had not entered the Australian market.

Mr Jankowsky said: “We are delighted to assist Sto Group with its acquisition of Unitex and ongoing international expansion.
